Dad's been working on his latest home improvement project for weeks

I'm starting to think his 'honey-do' list is actually a 'never-done' list

My dad said all he wanted for Father's Day was an hour of peace and quiet.

We found him in the garage, deep in conversation with a loose bolt on a bicycle he hasn't ridden in a decade.

My dad said for Father's Day, he just wanted one thing.

"An entire afternoon in the garage," he mumbled, "without anyone asking where the spare batteries are."

I got my dad a smart thermostat for Father's Day, thinking it would put an end to his temperature tinkering.
